A native of Bamberg, Germany, Mona Banzer graduated from the Technical University in Munich as a state licensed sports and dance teacher, and taught dance for the Berlin Board of Education for five years. Mona moved to New York City in 1986 . She added to her approach of integrated Body-Mind therapy through advanced studies in New York at the Ohashi Shiatsu Institute, The Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy, the Core-Energetic Institute for Psycho therapy, Movement Research for Movement Therapy and the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy. She worked as a Gestalt therapist in private practice in New York for 8 years, until shifting to Life Coaching. Mona is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (since 1992) and the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy since 1996.
In 2006, Mona earned her Coaching Certificate from the Empowerment Training Institute, and studied business coaching with trainer Ryan Eliason in 2011. With 42 years of experience as a teacher, health practitioner and therapist/life coach, Mona uses her intuitive understanding of the processes of the psyche and the physical body to enhance the effectiveness of transformational work.
After working as a Gestalt therapist for many years, I have shifted my emphasis to Life Coaching in the belief that we can step forward in our lives, rather than staying stuck in our old ways. As we work through awareness and emotion, you will come to understand who you are and what you offer in life. Together, we will bring your longing in line with your goals, and develop that powerful core to its highest potential.

Coaching is an interactive approach with the goal to discover how one interrupts oneself in the process of contacting goals and values. These interruptions prolong our process and even counteract with what one wants to achieve. Once we understand what holds us back from our desired goals we will create new strategies to build towards those goals.
We all deserve to live our lives from our hearts.
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist.
The time that your coaching process will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your process.
